  • What Does Rich Mean?

Sufficiency means having food, shelter and clothing. Being rich can be defined as having considerably more than enough, both now and indefinitely into the future, without dependency on work or chance.

But humans generally need more than the material basics of food in their belly, a roof overhead, and a shirt on their back. They need to give and receive love, companionship, and a degree of fulfillment/purpose. Being rich is all these things. But can we all be rich? (more…)

  • Abundance Meditation

Meditation has long been an integral part of Eastern mysticism with the discipline enjoying growing popularity in the West as more people discover its benefits on both mind and body. Meditation can take a variety of forms but essentially involves withdrawing attention from the physical senses while trying to quieten the chattering noise of consciousness.

There has been much interest of late in the subject of abundance, indeed the self-help shelves are chock full of titles on the topic. The principle of abundance says the universe consists of plentiful supply just waiting to be claimed by those who ask.

This meditation combines the mental and physical benefits of an altered state with a training of the mind to promote abundance-attracting behavior. You can either memorize the words, repeating them internally to yourself, or read them onto a tape (changing “I” to “you”) to be listened to at the appropriate time. (more…)

  • The Conflict Within

The term schizophrenic is often (wrongly) used to describe people exhibiting multiple personalities. In fact the human psyche is complex and we all house numerous, and often conflicting, traits under the umbrella of a single individual.

The psychologist C G Jung used the term “shadow” to represent our repressed characteristics. He describes it thus: “Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.” (more…)

  • Having Hope, Valor, Faith, and Action Creates a Spiritualution in the Midst of a World in Chaos, Near Total Destruction

    by Gabriel of Urantia

Anyone who listens to the news today, or puts gas in their car and tries to put food on the table and pay the utility bills, knows that our planet is in trouble—not just America, but the whole world. People live in fear of natural disasters as well as the threat of a World War III and the threat of total world destruction by nuclear weapons. The prophets of doom are on talk radio, sharing even worse scenarios of the end of the world and the tribulations to come.

With the recent tsunamis and earthquakes, where hundreds of thousands of people are killed in one day, life doesn’t go on in any normal fashion—even if those tragedies didn’t happen to you or your family. The apocalyptic eschatological interpretations by prophets of the book of Revelation are bestsellers, and millions of people believe that we are living in the end times.

For anyone with some sense of spiritual intuitiveness, it is obvious that it very well may be what the Bible describes as the “times of the end of the world” or the “times of tribulation.” But I would like to give humankind—at least those people who haven’t been that much affected by earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and other natural disasters—one last chance of hope.

  • Purpose

    by Michaela Sefler

    Likeness to eternal forms,
    by proximity adulated,
    freeing from bondage
    are the responses.
    Action,
    body whole,
in relation to a higher soul
    complete.
    In final attempts,
    coming together
    two making complete,
    intent coming through
    as clear as breeze.
    Distance relative,
    at each point
    yet coming together in finality,
    constant in the creative force.
    Progress, are initial attempts
    holding,
    in all areas
    at a single point.

  • The Secret of Dreams

    by Yacki Raizizun

Everybody dreams, but there are few who place any importance to the phenomena of sleep. Before we can begin to comprehend or even analyze dreams, whether our dreams are symbolic or otherwise, we must first divert from our mind our materialistic conceptions of what the individual called man really is. The external or physical man, is no more the man than the coat he wears. The physical man is only an instrument of which the real inner man or soul expresses itself in the physical universe. Various materialistic theories have been given in the past, trying to explain the mighty phenomena of dreams, but these theories have always been more or less unsatisfactory. Why? Because the-materialist tries to explain the riddle of human existence without an individual human spirit his explanation will always be unsatisfactory.
