Rising Above Fear

By: Niánn Emerson Chase

Though we should be aware of the multitude of problems facing our planet, I can hardly tolerate the slanted fear-based rhetoric in much of the mainstream media that emphasizes the war on terror and the sensationalized murders, accidents, and other bad new items. Also appalling are the number of popular horror and action films that focus on the terrible things in the world and feed people’s lower, fear- and hate-based natures. Oh yeah, there are a few minutes spent on good news and there are some films that have social and artistic value, but they are in the minority. (more…)

Rebirth for America: Free Will Choice

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, spiritual politics

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

America is a special place; America offers the spiritual freedom, alive in each person’s heart to choose what is best for self and others. Here in this country, each traveler can freely choose their own life and how they wish to live it.
-SB

Introduction

Daily my vision for America is that of a spiritual form which has taken on a physical reality. This spiritual form is the personal freedom to do and become; spiritually as creators of our own reality, every moment of each day, this personal freedom to create is one of the key central aspects to life. We must always remember that we are spiritual beings that have decided to take on a body; and America is a vision of personal freedom for millions of citizens. Spiritually, America represents the essence of individual free will choice. (more…)

Free Psychic Readings from New and Developing Psychics - fledglingPSYCHIC

Despite unprecedented progress in science and technology the late 20th and early 21st century has seen ever-increasing interest in alternative beliefs - the so-called new age movement. This may be seen as a reaction against both the "triumph" of materialism and orthodox, institutionalised religion.

A characteristic of the new age movement is the ever-increasing demand for the services of professional psychics, clairvoyants, mediums, astrologers, tarot readers, palmists, fortune tellers etc.

This short article discusses professional psychics and advises how to get the best from psychic readings. (more…)

Psychic Ability and Mediumship

Developing Psychic? Want to Develop your Psychic Ability? Visit fledglingPSYCHIC

Psychic ability and mediumship are very similar in that both involve the acquisition of knowledge by non-physical means, ie other than passing through the physical senses. The difference lies in the source of that knowledge. The distinction is a nebulous one with both psychics and mediums switching between faculties, often without realizing.

In mediumship knowledge is received from distinct Spiritual entitles, often (but not necessarily) those that have previously lived on earth.

In psychic functioning knowledge is received from other incarnate Spirits (as in telepathy, or mind reading) or by the seer using their own Spiritual part to reach out and obtain otherwise hidden knowledge of the physical realm.

The distinction doesn’t usually matter, as the information obtained is likely to be equally accurate. (more…)

Hacking Consciousness

The Stanford University Video Series

Reviewed by William T. Hathaway

This new Stanford video series investigates consciousness as the source of not only the human mind but also of all energy and matter. Consciousness is seen as the essence of the universe, a unified field which gives rise to and pervades all manifest phenomena. Five scientists from different disciplines describe how we can contact this field and use it to improve our lives. The series, designed by Michael Heinrich, is now available free on YouTube.

The intellectual background of the series is a fascinating conflict affecting all of us that is now going on in science and philosophy, centering on the question, What is the basis of the universe? In the 19th century advances in physics, chemistry, and biology led to an empiricist understanding of nature, and Enlightenment philosophy replaced superstition and myth. Leading thinkers in all these disciplines agreed that the universe is just matter in motion governed by natural laws which are open to human understanding. Reality is fundamentally material. Humans and other animals interact with an objective, external world through sensory input mediated by our consciousness, which is a neuro-chemical phenomenon of our brain cells. Thoughts are just reflections of the material world in the brain. (more…)

Am I Psychic?

abracad, · Categories: psychic development

The short answer is yes, everyone is naturally psychic!

What Does Being Psychic Mean?

The physical universe we inhabit is just one tiny part of an infinitely greater reality, sometimes called Spirit. As humans we have a physical body, but also a non-physical part (or “soul”) which straddles the physical and non-physical realms.

While we're alive our soul mainly stays in the background as our physical systems negotiate the complexities of life, but it's always there. It's what determines our basic character and choices, and the source of our intuition (ie psychic ability). Being psychic simply means raising our awareness beyond the physical plane.

Most of us have had occasional unexplained experiences, eg in the form of improbable coincidences (famously termed Synchronicity by psychologist CG Jung), prophetic dreams, or thinking about someone just before they call. Such experiences give glimpses of our psychic ability, but in most cases get brushed aside in the cold light of "reason".

Reincarnation: New Evidence

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, reincarnation

by Rabbi Allen S. Maller

A rather unusual form of evidence for reincarnation comes from the Jewish mystical tradition; the Kabbalah. Unlike Buddhism and Hinduism, Kabbalah does not teach that reincarnation (gilgul) occurs over the course of millions of years to millions of different sentient species.

According to Kabbalah, only the souls of self conscious moral creatures like human beings, reincarnate; and they reincarnate only when they have not fulfilled the purpose of their creation. Since Judaism is an optimistic religion, most Kabbalists teach that most people can accomplish their life’s purpose in one or two lifetimes. (more…)

The Appleseed Journal - Review

By Diane Donovan, Senior Reviewer, ‘California Bookwatch’

While most may readily recognize the name of Johnny Appleseed, which is widely connected with the propagation and popularity of apples, this same audience is just as unlikely to realize that Appleseed was actually a traveling minister with deep spiritual roots - and that he used apple seeding as one device towards the greater purpose of seeding men's souls. Of Sun Disks, World Portals and Medicine Wheels – Floater Structures in the Ancient North American Art

abracad, · Categories: entoptic phenomena, externally authored

By Floco Tausin

Eye floaters – vitreous opacities or consciousness light? A glimpse into the art and myths of former and non-Western cultures suggests that floaters had a spiritual meaning for many people. This article presents floater motifs and their meaning in North American Indian cultures.

This article is based on the experience that a certain type of eye floaters – the “shining structure floaters” – are more than “vitreous opacities,” as ophthalmology claims. This insight came to me by my teacher, the seer Nestor (Tausin 2012a, 2010a, 2009). In my further research, I found numerous indications that floaters – along with other entoptic phenomena – were perceived, artistically reproduced and passed down by the people of many cultures, ancient and modern (e.g. Tausin 2012b, 2012c). They were probably seen during consciousness altering ritual practices and have been mythically or spiritually interpreted (Tausin 2012d, 2010b). This article supports this assumption by presenting floater structures in some of the native cultures of North America. Examples include all of the major cultural regions: the Arctic and Subarctic (Inuit, Yupik), the Northwest Coast (Tlingit), California (Chumash), the Great Basin (Shoshone), the Pueblo cultures of the Southwest, the Algonquian and Sioux tribes of the East and the Great Plains, as well as the Mound Builders of the Southeast. Human life is a gift of God and we should live in a purposeful manner to evolve ourselves. We must live righteously by cultivating divine virtues within us and use them in our day to day conduct.
