Is The Qur’an Anti-Judaism?

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, religion

Rabbi Allen S Maller

The Qur’an is the only book of revelation that includes within itself a theory of prophethood which includes other religions. There have always been (since the days of Adam) people inspired by Allah who urged their society to avoid destruction by turning away from its corrupt and unjust ways and turning to the One God who created all humans. The Qur’an mentions 25 prophets by name (most of them known to non-Muslims too) and Muslims believe there were one hundred twenty four thousand others, whose names are now unknown.

Of the 25 mentioned by name in the Qur’an only five revealed books of sacred scripture, and only Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad revealed books of sacred scripture that are the bases for three religions that still flourish today. (more…)

Reincarnation: an Introduction

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, reincarnation

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

Q: What would you like to say about reincarnation?  Is this something from your framework that you accept or believe?

Once again, it does not matter what a traveler believes; the operative aspect is if this is a reality or potential of the situation?

Because much has been written about reincarnation and much has been proliferated as a control mechanism, we will discuss those issues most pertinent to our present western life.

However before beginning, it is important to keep in mind that in some societies this teaching was used and is used as a method to control a population by declaring something like. “Travelers must be content with their present status because it is what they earned; in future lives they have unlimited potential and can gain in material benefits.”  (more…)

May 5, a Day for Native Women

Ele-Elleid Kay

I was born on the Oneida Reservation in Wisconsin where I lived on and off for about 30 years. I was too white on my mother’s side of the family to be a registered tribal member, but my heart was too red to fit into the uncultured ways of the city that overlapped the reservation. As I became an adult I worked on the reservation with the youth, the men coming out of the prisons, and worked with drug and alcohol and domestic violence issues. I felt led by the Creator to work with these souls and take them to ceremonies where they could face the demons that I also had to face in the past. My own life and years of experience impassioned me to live and die for human rights and to strive to build a world that is safe for the next seven generations. (more…)

More Predictions for 2017 and Beyond

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, spirituality

By Tom T. Moore - Copyright 2017

Here are more predictions given to me by Gaia, soul of the Earth and my Guardian Angel Theo, as I’m a self-trained telepath.  These questions were sent to me from all over the world on a wide variety of subjects as you’ll read.

Theo, what is the probability of a private space company, such as SpaceX landing on Mars, before NASA does in the next six years?

Tom, there is a very small probability that this will occur. Go with the 25-year period that has been quoted in the past. These private space companies have not even sent their own Mars rovers and such instruments there yet. There has to be a basis of being able to fly several people to Mars, and then a landing and takeoff have to be accomplished, not to mention the length of the voyage, along with the large amount of supplies that must be taken along.  Brash claims of being able to safely travel to and from Mars are just that—public relations to manipulate the stock. These are, after all, businessmen.

Gaia, how far will plans proceed on building a wall on the U.S. Border? (more…)

Giving & Health

“God will not show mercy to him who does not show mercy to others.”
   Muhammad

The Sufis assert that the highest form of service is self-less, anonymous service that is in alignment with the Truth.

Ordinary charity, or giving to others, is part of being a human being.  It is something which is expected in everyday life; it is part of the basic requirement of responsibility towards others.  Further, in order for the helping to be most effective, it should be done in secret.

In our society, most often, we make a display of generosity.  Pictures which are donated to hospitals have a plaque with the donor's name on it.  Or, lists of donors to a charity are published in newspapers.

This is a beginning and important, however, other levels of charity and giving exist. (more…)

Mediumship: A Healing Experience Unlike Any Other

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, survival

By Roger Hardnock

When a loved one passes on, we typically find comfort in the arms of family and friends, in support groups, through grief counseling, and in our place of worship. But what happens when our broken heart needs something deeper and more profound than those kind words and a sympathetic ear? What if we yearn for a greater sense of certainty—that our loved one really is free of pain, and actually at peace in that better place?

Evidential Mediums—blessed with the ability to form a connection with those who have passed on, offer a solution that many are now turning to.

During a session with an Evidential Medium, departed loved ones are given a channel by which to come back—in spirit. Through the medium, they share evidence that validates their presence, and give examples of how they are still present in our lives. They share personal messages that would otherwise never be heard. Most Evidential Mediums consider this work a divine calling—a sacred gift—to be able to offer relief to those who have lost someone dear: a parent, spouse, friend or even a child.

The following transcript comes from an actual mediumship session. (more…)

Balance and the Balance System of the Human Collective

Nature strives for balance.

Nature’s language of balance is as follows: everyone listens to everyone, everyone talks with everyone, online, simultaneously and without delay.

The human race is only one communications system out of an infinite amount of communication forms that exist in nature. Although it is a unique system unmatched by any other in the observable universe, it does not defy the laws of nature.

We too, as individuals and as a human collective, strive for balance.

Every animal we know lives in harmony with nature instinctively and innately, but we act differently, due to two basic components acting synergistically in the foundation of the communications system known as the "human race".

The first component is the capacity for making conscious choices, with an unlimited range of options at its core.

The second component is the emotional frame that all human beings share. (more…)

An Optimistic View of Pre-Messianic Developments

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, religion, spiritual politics

By Rabbi Allen S. Maller

Human society changed more rapidly, violently and fundamentally in the last century of the second millennium than ever before in history.  Doctors saved the lives of millions.  Dictators sacrificed the lives of millions. Populations exploded and birthrates declined.  Technology produced both worldwide prosperity and pollution at the same time.

Knowing all this, should we look upon the first century of the third millennium with optimistic hope or with fatalistic trepidation?  Are the world and our society heading towards a wonder-filled new age, or toward a doomsday; or are both occurring concurrently because breakdown is always a prelude to breakthrough?  (more…)

Accepting Suffering With Love?

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, religion, spirituality
Rabbi Allen S. Maller

The following discussion comes from the Talmud. It is deeply concerned with making suffering more bearable by making suffering more meaningful. But also teaches us not to be too pious when encountering other people's suffering.

What is the lesson from (the life of) Rabbi Nahum the optimist?  This is his story:
Rabbi Nahum the optimist had bad vision, and arthritis in both his hands and his feet. Once his disciples asked “Rabbi, how can it be that someone as kind hearted and good as you should suffer such misfortunes?”
