EvilWhy if God is good and God is all powerful does evil exist at all? And why is it seemingly all around us? But this world, this life is merely kindergarten. If we don't experience the dark side here we shall never be able to progress. Evil may come from an immature soul. Born with free will it knows no better. But eventually will learn. Or in immaturity there is gullibility. Not inherently evil yet still some are led down the wrong pathway. And even the more advanced soul can take a wrong turning. Believing itself to be acting in the name of righteousness and yet being badly mistaken or misguided. Without evil we could never know, never mind appreciate goodness. And so what do we do? Our mortal duty is to do the Will of the greatest One down here on the earth plane. But that Will is not easy to know. We seek justice, to discourage the wrongdoer from doing further wrong, to seek to extract a price which may or may not undo the harm done. It is inevitably unsatisfactory, but all we can do. And yet we are taught to forgive. But is this not for our own sake as much as our enemy's? For unless we can let go of what has gone we can never accept nor make best of that which is to come. Seeketh and support human justice, but know also when it is time to move on. We cannot change the past so why invoke our own frustration by trying. We cannot reach tomorrow so why focus our attention there instead of on doing that which must be done today. The words herein came to me from I know not where, but a source to which I shall refer as spirit.
