Religion: Foundation for Spiritual Learning

Religion is the basis of life.
It is the focus from which
All other things spring.
-A. Hussain

Organized religion is a structure through which spiritual learning can begin and mature. Over the years, as travelers advance, spiritual learning takes place more and more outside of a religious context and occurs in daily life through personal spiritual experience. Personal spiritual experience is the natural extension of religious inquiry; the great religions were created to be spiritual highways for travelers to start learning about themselves and their relationship with Truth. Islam: Religion of Peace & Love?

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, in the news, religion, spiritual politics

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

"Say ye: 'we believe in God and the revelation given to us and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord. We make no difference between one and another of them, and we bow to God.'” Koran, Chapter 2, Verse 136*

Often I get forwarded e-mails from fellow travelers who are fearful, reading the headlines about Muslim extremists. These extremists are using their religious beliefs to justify deadly action against others of their own faith; and others who they designate as non-believing or Westerners. In America and across the world, this is a real threat to the way we live and maintaining our personal freedom. These Muslim extremists would tell us how to live, what to believe and kill any who deviate from their view.

Sadly this is the not the first time that religious belief has been used to justify action and war against others. History is full of examples and it is such a powerful tool and motivator, follow what God wants, that it is continues to be used today. Just read the Old Testament or follow the accounts of the Crusades; Jewish and Christian history is full of examples where deadly force was used to protect and further a cherished belief system. Today in this matter there is little choice; all freedom loving people must stand their ground, raise their voice and fight against those who would take from us.  It is clear that we are long past solving this problem only with words. Why the Many Religions?

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, religion, spirituality

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

Q:   If God/Light is One, why the many religions?

The many religions exist because travelers and cultures are different; these differences in religious form exist to help people better understand who they are.

In this matter, there is both an internal and external reality.  The internal reality is the spiritual experience of God/Light; for all religious forms, the closer you get to God/Light, the more this experience is singular. Externally religious forms differ; religion puts on different clothes because the climate and traveler’s need vary. (more…)

Which is the Correct Religion?

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, religion, spirituality

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

Q:   In our tradition, we are taught those who do not believe the same as us are incorrect, and unless they change shall be punished by God.  Also, as responsible believers, we have a duty to try and correct their view?

A:    Does the Father love only some of his children?  Are not all children of God?

Before there was organized religion, how did travelers worship?  Were these millions all in error and abandoned by their Father?

To every place and time is a path or religion.  Look to a traveler's heart and their action; a good, loving person, who makes the world a better place, is a servant of God and has a religion to follow.  Let God evaluate the measure of their lives; God’s mercy is without end. (more…)

Spirituality is the backbone of Indian philosophy. Indian philosophy is eclipsed by Indian spirituality. It aims at living the life in highest consciousness involving maximum awareness. Spirituality aims at recognizing the Divine principle in a man and growing with that principle to bring about harmony and freedom in man’s inner and outer life. When we grow spiritually we also maintain healthy relationship with others. (more…)

Allah’s Hanukah “Nūr”/Nair

Rabbi Allen S. Maller
When I will kindle the wicks of oil or candles and say the special Hebrew blessings celebrating the strength of God’s vessel of holy light (in Hebrew Nair in Arabic Nur) of goodness to overcome the dark depths of evil on this eight day celebration of Hanukah [which this year begins on the evening of December 25, 2024 to January 2, 2025]; I will also think of the ayah, “He is the One Who sends to His servant manifest signs that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into Light; and verily Allah is to you most Kind and Merciful.” (Qur’an 57:9)

Prophet Abraham’s Many Covenants

Rabbi Allen Maller
Prophet Abraham is famous for the numerous ways God tested him especially the terrible tests of banishing his wife Hagar and his first born son Ishmael (Qur'an 2:124 & Genesis 9:9-21) and bringing his son to a special place as an offering to God. (Qur'an 37:100-113 & Genesis 22:1-24) Most Muslim commentators say the son, unnamed in the Qur'an, was Ishmael. Some Muslims assert it was Isaac.

When Peace Should Override Truth

abracad, · Categories: externally authored, religion

Rabbi Allen S. Maller

The Jewish Sages teach that: “The world stands on three things, on justice, on truth, and on peace.”[Talmud Avot 1:18] Jews are commanded to follow the ways of God. He is truthful, so too, we must strive to be truthful in all of our ways.[Torah Deuteronomy 28:9] It is good to practice being truthful because the Torah prohibits lying: “Keep far away from an untruth.”[Torah Exodus 23:7] Whoever lies in a court of law, violates one of the Ten Commandments, “You shall not bear false witness.”[Exodus 20:12] (more…)

LIBERTARIAN SOCIALISM AS THE BASIS OF THE SPIRITUAL NEW AGE MOVEMENT

By Michael Dargaville

The two major forces of the worldwide New Age movement - official alien disclosure and deep spirituality - must rest on libertarian socialism.

All three areas are entwined and are at the root of our current reality.

Currently benevolent loving advanced galactic human aliens surround
our planet in their spaceships. They are called the Galactic Federation.

Our planet will be destroyed by bad reptilian reptoid aliens if we do not officially join the Galactic Federation.

Governments are currently playing an extremely dangerous wait and see game (and have done so for more than 20 years)  because they don't won't to change the current basic financial structures of the  planet which are based on the super capitalism of thousands of billionaires and high end multi-millionaires.
