Is there life after death?

Being a clairvoyant medium, I have had so many people come through the door and tell me that they have been waiting for a sign from a loved one that has passed over, yet they haven’t received anything. And they just want to know that their loved one is alright.

This of course, raises the question of, ‘is there life after death?’  My answer to that is a simple ‘yes’.  I firmly believe that there is and I have had far too many instances of those in the spirit world giving messages of proof to their loved ones here on this earth for me to ever doubt that there is more to life than just our existence here.

I could give you hundreds of examples but I will contain it to just one.

When I was first venturing into the world of spiritualism and realizing that I was clairvoyant, (I have to add here that I was raised as a strict Seventh-Day Adventist for over 30 years and have written about that journey in my book Christian to Clairvoyant, available through Amazon.com), this world of spiritualism that I was starting to delve into was all quite scary to me as it went against everything that I had ever been taught to know.

I started to attend a local spiritualist church, going to their evening meditation class and also their Sunday service.  The mother (Gwen) of the lady (Marcia) who ran the meditation circle passed away not long after I started to attend, I had only ever met her once and as she had Motor Neurone Disease she wasn’t able to speak.  About a month after she had passed I was sitting in the Sunday Service when I felt Gwen’s laughter, which I felt weird because I had never heard her laugh, and then she said to me ‘tell Marcia, fruitcake’, me feeling like a complete idiot I didn’t say a word, then that Monday night at meditation Gwen came to me again, and said ‘tell Marcia fruitcake or plum pudding’ I’m thinking what? Fruitcake or plum pudding?  Both of which, I would like to say, I don’t like.  Again, I was feeling like a complete idiot.  I left it until the following week at the meditation class and as that message just wouldn’t leave me, I walked up to Marcia and said, “I feel really stupid saying this but I’m positive your mum has come to me a couple of times and she has told me to tell you fruitcake or it could be plum pudding”.  I could actually feel my face was red with embarrassment.  Marcia looked at me and smiled and said ‘that (fruitcake) was the special word that mum said she would give me to let her know that she was alright’.  I was stunned that I had been used to pass a message of comfort to someone.

How do you explain that?  I had no idea that was some kind of secret message, but it was and it was proof that Gwen had made it safely to the spirit world.

I firmly believe that we can all communicate in a very simple way with those in the spirit world.  This is what I tell people when they come to me for a reading to get a message so that they can give it a try themselves.  I gave this example to one lady that came and said that she had been waiting for a sign from a loved one for over four years, when I asked her what the sign was she was looking for, she said that she had no idea, she was just looking for one!

What do you need to do?  Well, it’s all quite simple, really.  Firstly, you need to ask a question that has a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer.  Secondly, you need to think about and specify to them, what the ‘yes’ answer is – in this example, I felt compelled to say a rainbow.  The key to this is you need to be open to all variations of what a rainbow is, you may not see an actual rainbow in the sky, but a bus may go past with the picture of a rainbow on it, or you may walk into a shop and there is a rainbow glass ornament or a prism reflecting a rainbow on the wall.  Whatever it is that you ask for may not always be literal.  And don’t just put it down to co-incidence when it happens because that is what we usually do!  The lady in question said that she would use a rainbow as she liked that example and off she went.  That evening during the weather they always put a photo up that someone has taken, guess what the picture was?  You guessed it, a rainbow!  I wrote to her and asked if she had seen it and she said no, however she did see a rainbow in another form the next day and was thrilled.

I do believe that if you are open to it that you will be able to do this quite easily and I do hope that you try.
