Spirituality- The need of the hour

Many individuals who are on the highest altar of the materialistic world term spirituality & the foundation behind it as illogical & the people who are involved in it as ESCAPISTS.
There might be some truth in it as the people who have not grown to the fullest can never believe the illogical…logically. It needs a great amount of sensitivity to overcome the logical mind which is based on the mundane things which are visible & easy to comprehend.
There is a great sense of urgency in understanding spirituality… as the results of the mind which tries to formulate every theory out of the mundane things are limited. This is turning out to be a threat to the society creating chaos, hostility, fear, greed , ignorance & isolation.
The individuals who are fettered by the mundane things of the materialistic world are finding it hard to digest the true purpose of living. They are divided, estranged, confused & ignorant about life & its working.
If the sublime things of life i.e. love, creativity, freedom & knowledge has to flower to its fullest then it is absolutely necessary for the individual to become aware of the working of the body & mind, so as to go deep inside oneself… only to be with the spirit. And.. this is the only reality of life which can also termed as SPIRITUALITY.
The sensory perceptions are very limited & an individual who is attached & static to the limited knowledge gained by the sensory perceptions gets entrenched with the values which he finds true to his best. Only when the individual frees himself from the inhibitions, can he really take the journey ahead. It needs a great amount of courage, wisdom & faith in himself to take the path of spirituality.
Spirituality is a moment to moment realization & moment to moment living. To be living to each moment,one has to come out of time i.e the past & the future. How can one be called as an escapist when he starts living in the present moment with full awareness & acceptance.
The individual has to inexorably become independent, intelligent, peaceful, serene, loving & blissful…as all these sublime aspects of life are to be savored, only by being with the spirit.
It is the need of the hour for spiritualists to shed some light on the true knowledge behind spirituality. A very small attempt has been made to differentiate the various levels of consciousness where the individual can be fettered & an open mind without any inhibitions may help the individual to understand his/her position.
The individual can understand where he is stuck in the process of realization by understanding a few things about the chakras or psychic channels. A psychic channel is a channel which can attract abundant psychic energies (when activated through meditations) which are very much needed for the spiritual growth of an individual.
In Tantra philosophy it is been said that the human body has seven psychic channels which has to work in tandem so as to take the individual to the highest states of consciousness or knowledge.( Let us not really use our mind to understand the logic behind the chakras)
Each chakra or the psychic channel represents different states of the consciousness & it is very easy to feel these psychic channels working at its best when an individual starts practicing a few meditation techniques related to these.
An individual who is not meditating can just understand the different planes of consciousness stated below in a very logical manner.
The first psychic channel is known as Mula Dhara or the Base chakra which is related to the matter or materialistic things. It is located at the base of the spine. The individual who is stuck at this plane of consciousness is entrenched with the thought of food, money, cars, bungalows etc. The individuals thought process is connected with these things as he feels happiness when he is with these materialistic things. The happiness that he gets by being with them makes him feel that he is with life. The conscious level of the individual who is stuck at this plane is limited & can be easily manipulated by the others who are in the higher states of consciousness. The individual who is in this state will always feel that “He is Eating to live & he is Living to Eatâ€
The second psychic channel is located between the navel & the genitals which is called as the Swadistana or the Sexual centre. The thought process of the individual who is connected to this centre is around the act of intercourse. The act of being together with the partner brings the bliss in the individual which is momentary & qualitative compared to the happiness attained in the materialistic things. The consciousness of the individual is stuck in the thought of being in the act & all his energies are dissipated in the process of realizing the desire of being in the act. The conscious level of the individual who is stuck at this plane is limited & can be easily manipulated by the others who are in the higher states of consciousness. The individual who is in this state will always feel that “He is Living to Breed & Breeding to Liveâ€
The third psychic channel is located in the navel which is called as the Manipura or the Navel centre. The thought process of the individual who is connected with this centre is around identifying himself with the form, religion, country, certificates, position etc. It makes him feel secured & a sense of belongingness arises. It gives the individual a sense of happiness & a feeling that he is greater than the other. The thoughts work incessantly to be powerful & dominating . The individual gets entangled by the small illusory world which he has built for himself in the name of power, domination & identification. The conscious level of the individual never rises above to feel the ignorance of himself . Only a non judgmental awareness can be of some help for the individual who is stuck in this plane of consciousness.
The fourth psychic channel is located in the middle of the ribs which is called as the Anahata (or) the heart centre. The thought process of the individual who is connected with this centre is working around love. An individual who has tasted the nectar of being in love with himself & the others around him loses the fire in due course as the thoughts take over. The individual works relentlessly to be in love & indulge in love. The happiness attained in being with this act is qualitatively higher than the happiness attained by being with the acts of lower consciousness of food, intercourse & domination. The individual builds an illusory world where he feels that love is life & life is to be in love. One can never get out of the web if one does not make an effort to understand the ways of working of the universe.
The fifth psychic channel is located in the throat which is called as the Visshudi or the throat centre. The thought process of an individual who is connected with this centre is working around creativity & expression. The individual finds bliss by indulging himself with the act of creativity & expression. The creativity comes in many forms like music, singing, dance, painting etc. The individual feels the oneness with his self where he draws the pristine, limitless energy which has formed the universe. The joy, ecstasy, bliss which he finds while being creative is qualitatively higher than that of the bliss what he attains being with the acts of lower consciousness of being with food, intercourse, domination & love. The problem is the individual can get stuck with the fame what he gets by the product of his creativity. He or she may get lost with the momentary bliss what they had attained while creating & may fall into the pitfalls of their thoughts which is always there to bring back the memories of the golden days which brought them name , fame & happiness. The very thoughts become a hindrance to the individual to go back to the state of oneness with their self. The individual may even feel that whatever he/she has created is the ultimate product of life & may also brand the truth behind life as… Creativity & Expression.
The sixth psychic channel is located in the middle of the eyebrow which is called as the Ajna chakra or the Third eye. This is also called as the knowledge center. The thought process of the individual who is connected with this centre is working around knowledge. The individual feels that he knows more than the other which gives an upper hand to subdue people who are in the lower levels of consciousness. The individual feels the bliss as & when he uses the knowledge what he has attained. The knowledge may also become a hindrance in the path of realization as there is nothing which can make him feel the ignorance of himself. The individual might get lost in the pool of knowledge what he has acquired without converting it into pure knowing. The individual might also feel that life is knowledge & knowledge is life. He might get diverted towards acquiring more & more knowledge in the universe but might fall short in realizing something which was very near i.e the self. Only the awareness of the present state without any interpretations & interruptions.. can help the individual to realize something which he has not realized.
The seventh psychic channel is located in the top of the head which is called as the sahasrar or the crown centre. It is connected with the supreme divine consciousness & the individual has no control over the acts, situations & the unexpected things what happens in & around him. Only the pure awareness of this fact might bring the individual closer to the truth that… Life is to expect the unexpected with sheer curiosity, innocence & awareness.
An individual can comprehend the facts of his ignorance & even might want to overcome it… but without the much needed support & energy he/she cannot climb up the ladder of consciousness. It is a challenge posed by consciousness where all the materialistic paraphernalia becomes useless. Only awareness & the humility behind becoming one with consciousness can take the individual to the ultimate rungs of realization.
The individual has to make every effort to restore the natural quality of becoming effortless, flexible, creative, curious & blissful. This can be possible only by the light shown by conscious people who are with the light of life. The laws of nature & the simple working of the system has to be laid out clearly so that the individual becomes a light unto himself.
The need of the hour is to join hands with conscious people who are striving to create a new world…. of enlightenment through creativity, love, & knowledge. It is very much important for the conscious people to set up new laws which can bring the ignorant back to the track to feel divinity where the ultimate bliss, joy, ecstasy, love, intelligence, harmony, freedom & life dwells. One needs to upgrade, update & create a new world, free from hostility, greed, fear, ignorance, disease & the thought of death. This can happen only when the light of knowledge is lit up in every individual which eradicates the darkness of guilt, division & ignorance. The true knowledge emanates from the spirit of oneself which is hidden behind all thoughts & only the silence of the mind can let the wisdom of the spirit to dawn.
