Angels and Spirit Guides

There are entities that seek to help us fulfill our cause. These fall into two groups - angels and guides.

Angels are highly evolved entities whose sole purpose is to help other, lower entities along their experiential path. We often hear of guardian angels that provide protection in times of danger, sometimes directly intervening to keep a soul on earth rather than letting misfortune terminate their journey before its natural end. We usually aren't aware of angels and may only feel their influence a few times in our lives - if we're lucky. But they are always there, for each and every one of us. It's not the role of angels to intervene at every twist and turn just as a good parent does not solve every problem for their offspring in the knowledge that experience is the best teacher.

We can become more aware of angels through prayer and meditation.

There are such beings as earth angels. These are higher entities that choose to incarnate with the sole purpose of helping others along their evolutionary journey. Earth angels may be recognized by their entirely selfless nature.

Our Spirit Guides are entities closer to our own level of evolution, but residing solely upon the Spiritual plane. Whereas angels take more of a passive observer approach, our guides (we each have several) are more closely involved with our daily affairs. Even so, our guides don't intervene with our free will unless we consciously choose to ask their assistance.

For many that seek Spiritual progress, making contact with their guides is an important goal. This is achieved by regular and frequent prayer and meditation. In prayer invite your guides to make themselves known. In meditation build stronger and stronger images of them. Though our guides never leave us, because of our free will they cannot make themselves known unless we positively invite them to do so. And even when we are aware of our guides our free will reigns supreme. Our guides can advise, but we must decide.
