Your Only True Purpose In This World

Your only real purpose in this world is to Love all. A Course in Miracles states "In order to Have, give all to all." In order to be aware that you have been given everything you must give in order to receive. When you are truly being giving, which is when you are extending Love to everyone, you are also receiving the gifts of love. Love is everything and this giving and receiving Love is natural order. It is only when we are aligned with Love and the true nature of giving and receiving Love that we are in our natural state.

Our natural state of being is Divine Ecstacy - or what is known as a Heavenly state. Who we are is Ecstacy and where we exist is in Heaven eternally. We were created as Gods holy child, made whole and complete. God did not create an opposite to love so therefore anything that is not love is simply not real. Our only true purpose is to remember that we are Love. We remember this through a practice of true forgiveness. Forgiveness is synonymous with Atonement, salvation, and true perception. Forgiveness is being able to see your brothers as they truly are, as Love, instead of seeing them as what the ego wants you to believe about them which is often as something outside of you, or something that could possibly hurt you. But because you are not a body, and are rather an eternal child of God existing as pure spirit or pure light you cannot possibly be hurt or harmed in anyway. And with God's Holy Angels watching over you and protecting you while you believe that you are a body, they remind us that we are eternally safe.

Today, let us remember who we really are. We ask God and His Angels today, "What am I? Please remind me of who I am." A Course in Miracles has a beautiful prayer in the workbook that says:

"I am God's Son, complete and healed and whole, shining in the reflection of His Love. In me is His creation sanctified and guaranteed eternal life. In me is love perfected, fear impossible, and joy established without opposite. I am the holy home of God himself. I am the Heaven where His Love resides. I am His holy Sinlessness Itself, for in my purity abides His Own." -Workbook: 14: 1-6 -

Today, let us also remember what our true purpose is in this world, which is to Love. We ask God and His Angels today, "Where would you have me go today? What would you have me do? What would you have me say or write today and to whom?" A Course in Miracles Lesson 257 says:

"Let me remember what my purpose is.

If I forget my goal I can be but confused, unsure of what I am, thus conflicted in my actions. No one can serve contradicting goals and serve them well. Nor can he function without deep distress and great depression. Let us therefore be determined to remember what we want today, that we may unify our thoughts and actions meaningfully, and achieve only what God would have us do this day.

Father, forgiveness is Your chosen means for our salvation. Let us not forget today that we have no will but Yours. And thus our purpose must be Yours as well, if we would reach the peace You will for us."
