Professor Federico Mayor Zaragoza (born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1934) is a respected figure in Spain and abroad for his tireless work for peace and development. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Professor Mayor, a biochemist by profession, held several senior ministerial posts in the Spanish transition governments and later as Member of the European Parliament. He gained widespread international recognition during his mandate as director-general of UNESCO from 1987 to 1999, a period in which he gave new momentum to the organisation’s mission and worked towards creating the Culture of Peace Program. In 1999, he decided not to run for a third term with UNESCO and, on returning to Spain, created Fundación Cultura de Paz, (The Foundation for the Culture of Peace) of which he is chairman. Signs of the coming transformation to appear

For almost 40 years, artist, author, and lecturer Benjamin Creme has been preparing the way for the emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher, and his group, the Masters of Wisdom. Since 1982 Share International magazine has published monthly articles from a Master of Wisdom in contact with Mr. Creme. His March article follows.

The coming transformation

From the depth of its present problems and sorrows, humanity will find hope. So much that is taking place is positive and auspicious for the race that men can be assured of an early lessening of their problems—not all at once, but gradually, little by little. Wisdom: Why It Cannot be Given Away?

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

The Exemplar exists to show the traveler what is possible.

If you are lucky enough to find a wise man or woman don’t be surprised if they don’t dispense wisdom like a coca-cola machine.  Wisdom is not the type of thing that can be offered to another person like an afternoon cup of coffee; it is a personal capacity that is developed over time, enriched by life experience and bestowed through spiritual Grace.

Also wisdom is individual and specific to time, place and people. So one traveler’s wisdom or set of instructions and insights might mean nothing or seem like gibberish to another. Continue reading Wisdom: Why It Cannot be Given Away? »

The Loneliness, Stress, Isolation, And Lack Of Human Compassion And Support Of Brothers And Sisters Existing In Urban Life

The Need For Community And Coming Back To Nature

Part 3 in A Series On Community Building And Survival In Times Of Economic Crises by Gabriel of Urantia

We should ask ourselves how many people should comfortably live in close proximity to one another, also in relationship to working and using the same recreation facilities. For instance, New York City has an approximate 10-mile radius (which includes the boroughs) with roughly 20 million inhabitants within that radius. In our extra-large cities of more than 10 million people, how big should that radius be?  Continue reading The Loneliness, Stress, Isolation, And Lack Of Human Compassion And Support Of Brothers And Sisters Existing In Urban Life »

What is Spiritual Experience?

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

True knowledge comes from the light of certainty, by which God enlightens the heart. Then you will behold the things of the spiritual world, and by the power of that light all the veils between you and that world will be removed. -Al-Antaki

Q: What is spiritual experience?  Is spiritual experience God?

Man is a world of many levels.  In this age we are just beginning to experience and explore the complexity of consciousness and spiritual experience.

What is thought?  What is consciousness?  How is thought and consciousness different, or similar, to spiritual experience?  Is spiritual experience the same as religious experience? Continue reading What is Spiritual Experience? »

A Simple Tool For Your Toolbox

By Tom T. Moore Copyright 2012

As we get older, one of the things we must face are more trips to a hospital for any variety of reasons.  This happened to me recently when I went in for arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn cartilage brought on by years of skiing. After a vacation this past September to Orlando’s amusement centers and St. Petersburg, Florida, I could barely walk.

Certainly there’s stress involved with any type of procedure, but I’m going to give you a simple tool you can use not only in serious circumstances, but for ANY situation, no matter how mundane for the rest of your life.  It is requesting Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) each time you go anywhere or do anything.  As an example, before I left for the hospital I said out loud, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my drive to the hospital, thank you!”  Now I believe that my own Guardian Angel handled that request, but you can believe the request is going to God, Allah, Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, Vishnu, or any other deity.  It does not matter, because IT WORKS!  Before the surgery I said, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this surgery, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” Continue reading A Simple Tool For Your Toolbox »

How Many Times?

I wonder how many times
I have walked upon this planet.
Certainly this is not my first trip;
I am an old time traveler who has returned, building upon past vacations.
Sometimes, I wonder why I put myself through this journey again and again.
The flesh decays; sunshine turns to darkness and those you love pass away.
Why return to this place of sorrow and tragedy?

Yet, the heart whispers- because without bitterness there can be no sweetness.
Without loneliness there can be no love.
Without death there can be no life.
All to be shared, over and over again;
all to know the Creator, myself, and others more fully.

Personally, joining in the action of creation- moment by moment.

Impact of a Tragedy: Trayvon Martin

By Dr. Stewart Bitkoff

The whole world is a marketplace for Love,
For naught that is, from Love remains remote.
The Eternal Wisdom made all things in Love.
On Love they all depend, to Love all turn.
The earth, the heavens, the sun, the moon, the stars
The center of their orbit find in Love.
By love are all bewildered, stupefied,
Intoxicated by the Wine of Love.

-Attar

The Story of the Essenes – Twelve Maidens

by Doug Simpson

This is the third article in a series of articles on the Essenes, based on the information revealed in the in-trance readings from America’s legendary mystic, Edgar Cayce. If you have not read The Story of the Essenes – The Beginning and The Story of the Essenes – Jesus’ Teacher, I respectfully recommend that you do so before continuing to read this article. It is not crucial that you do this, but it will assist you in understanding the background of the Essenes organization and religion, prior to the point in time where they were making contingency plans during their preparations for the birth of the long-awaited Messiah.
