THE MOUNTAINS

The mountains and hills
oceans and seas
are yours to behold
for a moment.
To claim for a moment
to know
and to see;
to perceive worth and reality.
The dark eve
and foggy skies
are here to mystify
your lonely night.
The love that underlies
the intent
are mine
to remember.

WISE THINGS

Wise things
synchronized;
in time received,
in tune actualized.
Wisdom told;
wisdom unraveled;
who can know?
the mysteries of the soul.
A pouring of;
a blossoming;
unto a vast potential
of tranquility and wonder.
Answers told;
waited on
and desired;
a continuance of marvel.

EVERLASTING

Tearing me apart
standing but
for a
moment.
Waited hopefully;
yet
dawn
never
broke.
I wait;
regardless;
never ending doubt
plagues my existence.
You stand strong
and steady;
I recall your promise;
will I suffice?
Will I prevail
the doubts and failures
a constant
shortcoming
I seem to assume.
In your light
I triumph easily;
yet only a moment
can I foresee.
I brush aside
my failures,
in your shadow
I rest.
Let me feel
your everlasting strength
once more.

STRANDED

Stranded;
without an answer,
lost;
without
return.
I can live
and build my home
be happy once more
if that is your answer.
Forsaken
it seems;
yet I will
let it be.
I will try to believe;
try to become;
grow once again
so I can shine.
Try to rearrange
my life
and
belongings.
Existence and life;
I will not forgo;
I will build from the ashes
another life.
Blessings from above
unite

HERO

He who will persevere;
guard and keep;
and find his way
his skills are his.
A true hero
even when without
rejected and downcast
was he for a moment.
Wisdom he acquired
peace he learns;
to uphold justice;
respect of life
and the living.
The signs of the times
he knows and reads;
for he is informed
of intention, and meaning.
